Welcome
to "Fa-Sol" Casa Romano farmhouse bed & breakfast.
Our
family run farmhouse offers you a comfortable stay and relaxing
start to your day. "Fa-Sol"
Casa Romano, an early 19th century farmhouse,
has been owned by generations of our family and more recently
has been completely refurbished for all who stay to enjoy.
The
farmhouse is located in quiet countryside just outside Alba
(CN) but still only
1.5 Km from the "Capitale
delle Langhe" town centre, easily reachable
by bicycle.
The
B&B's name "Fa-Sol"
has come about for two reasons.
Firstly the house is south facing and each morning we can see
the sunrise from the east (in Italian we say "fa-sol").
Secondly because we are a musical family and fa and sol are two
musical notes, we decided this would be a compliment to the first
name.
Three
"musically themed" rooms have been comfortably and carefully
furnished to reflect this passion. The
Blues Room (twin beds), the Classic
Room (double) and the Jazz
Room (single).
Your
breakfast will be carefully prepared by "Nonna Cate"
using genuine and tasty home produce.
